*Required Major Courses
Majors are required to take two courses in Social Institutions (SOC 2_14 or 3_14) and two courses on Social Dynamics (SOC 2_44 or 3_44), in addition to the other courses required for the major.
It is recommended that students interested in graduate school take SOC 2234 Statistical Analysis.
Students interested in the helping professions and/or graduate school in helping professions should take psychology, WRC, and micro-sociology electives and an internship with an appropriate organization in an area of career interest.
