Visiting Students

Transylvania invites members of the central Kentucky community to enjoy our distinctive academic experience by enrolling in one or more of our classes.

If you are interested in a particular subject or class offered at Transylvania, we encourage you to consider applying for non-degree admission. Working with our registrar, you can enroll in a single class or pursue an area of scholarly inquiry without investing in a full degree program.

Non-degree admission may also help students enrolled at colleges or universities outside the Lexington area complete necessary course work while home for summer vacation.

Martha Foster
Lexington resident Dr. Martha Foster has studied periodically with art professor Jack Girard. In 2013 two of her pieces were selected for the Annual Juried Student Art Exhibit in Morlan Gallery.

Transylvania classes are open to any area resident with a high school diploma. Fees may vary depending on the course and the term. You can review the upcoming course schedule at any time. (From TNet, click Search for Classes.)

To apply, complete the Application for Non-Degree Admission. A $30 application fee is due upon registering for a specific course.
