I'll Be Your Mirror exhibition

“I’ll Be Your Mirror” reveals Lexington’s historically rich, vibrant, and fairly secretive gay culture, depicting the town’s drag queens, sexual outlaws, and gender-bending guerilla artists from the turn of the twentieth century right up to present day through the work of contemporary visual artists. Moosnick Lecture in Judaic Studies

Location: Carrick Theater

A.J. Levine, professor of New Testament and Jewish studies at Vanderbilt Divinity School and the author of "The Meaning of the Bible: What the Jewish Scriptures and the Christian Old Testament Can Teach Us" and the "Jewish Annotated New Testament," will present “How Jews and Christians Read Scripture Differently.” The event is free and open to the public.
