Forrer Hall is a center of activity on the residential side of campus. The four-story building houses our first year students.
Forrer Hall features spacious community bathrooms, laundry facilities on each floor, a 30-station computer lab, and a chapter room for each of the four sororities on campus. A courtyard in the center of the building connects it to the William T. Young Campus Center and the University dining hall.
Many student services are housed in Forrer Hall, providing easy access to all students. These include the Department of Public Safety, the Office of Health Services, and the Department of Residence Life. Forrer provides two conference rooms that are set aside for 24-hour study, and the front lobby also is designated for study. The back lobby is more social with a big screen television, automated teller machine, and the Residence Life Desk, where all residents receive their mail and packages.
Students actively engage in conversation, floor activities, and community engagement and leave their doors open while studying in their rooms. The facilities, location, and staff contribute to making Forrer Hall an exciting community to live in.
